Nokia Lumia 1520 will hit the Indian Stores next week

The Nokia Lumia 1520 is listed on Flipkart (for preorder) for Rs. 45,999.

Nokia launched its first phablet in India for a price of Rs.45,999. The Lumia phablet 1520 runs on WP8 OS and sports a 6 inch screen with full HD resolution and its powered by 2.2 GHz quad core processor (Qualcomm Snapdragon 800) MSM8974 coupled with Adreno 330 GPU. This is a single SIM (GSM) handset with a Micro SIM slot. By introducing this phablet Nokia shows that as well as trying to crack the tablet market with the Lumia 1520, the firm is also challenging Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 and the HTC One Max.
The device could also currently be one of Nokia’s most expensive offerings to the market.

The Nokia Lumia 1520 features a giant 6-inch IPS LCD display having a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels with 16M colors.
Under the hood, there is a 2.2GHz quad-core processor (MSM8974) coupled with 2GB of RAM. Microsoft's Windows Phone 8 comes out of the box.
One can find 32GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded via a microSD card slot.
Imaging can be taken care of by an 20-megapixel rear-facing camera Carl Zeiss optics and optical image stabilisation. Also, add a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
The makers have added a 3,400mAh battery and supports 4G LTE
Other highlighted features include: 3G (42Mbps), Single SIM (also supports micro SIM), Wi-Fi (a/b/g/n/ac), GPS with GLONASS / A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC.

Another phablet from Micromax A114 Canvas 2.2 launched Rs.11,500

The domestic handset maker Micromax has introduces its next mid-range mobile with 5-inch display and Android 4.2 in the Indian market.The Micromax A114 is a dualSIM phablet with support of Micro-SIM cards.

It includes a 5-inch qHD IPS display with a 540x960 pixels resolution and comes powered by MT6582M quad core processor that is clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with Mali 400  GPU along with 1GB of RAM. This is different from the MT6589 chipset.


Flipkart
It sports an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera accompanied by a flash and also includes a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with 4GB inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB with the help of a microSD card. The Micromax 114 Canvas 2.2 packs a 2000mAh battery which, as per the company's listing, can deliver up to 7 hours of talktime and up to 290 hours standby time.There are G-Sensor, proximity and light sensors.Other highlighted features include: 3G, Dual SIM (also supports micro SIM), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS and FM Radio, among others. The device measures 9.7mm in terms of thickness and weighs 147grams.

Micromax A114 (Canvas 2.2) with 1.3GHz quad core power is available for Rs. 11,500.
